What We Offer

At Melody Man we pride ourselves in offering the best local music teachers that teach a wide range of musical styles on most instruments. Our Teachers are professionals who have real life experience working in the industry as: studio musicians, writers, arrangers, producers, band leaders, or sidemen.
We offer our lessons in 30 & 60 minute sessions privately or in groups. Our studio has a bright, clean and comfortable atmosphere which is essential to maintaining a healthy state of mind.

Lessons

• Private lessons are the most common method for the aspiring musician to study music outside of the public school system or instead of going to a community college. From Beginner to Weekend Warriors, we can help you fine tune your skills and find your 'voice' on your prospective instrument.
When studying at Melody Man a student can expect to learn technique, theory, repritoire in a variety of styles, practice methods, composition and arranging.
• We offer lessons on the following instruments:
Piano, Voice, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Mandolin, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone and Violin.

Band & Percussion Ensembles

Melody Man Ensamble • The Ensemble Packages are run in weekly one hour sessions for eight weeks. There are generaly two packages offered per year, one in the fall and one in the the spring.
In an ensemble the students will learn how to play popular songs, read charts, play in different keys, at different tempos and in different styles. Students will also learn how to write and create their own music. Most importantly they will learn how to perform and co-operate in group situations. Taking part in the Melody Man ensembles is one the fastest ways to learn and understand music because it gets you (the student) out of the basement and into a band.
All ensembles are held right here at the Melody Man studio.

MELODY MAN STUDIOS LESSON RATES
AND PAYMENT OPTIONS WILL BE:

1. MONTHLY POST-DATED CHEQUES:
•$20 PER LESSON (sept to jan / feb to june)

2. PRE-AUTHORIZED MONTHLY PAYMENTS
•VISA /MASTERCARD: $20 PER LESSON

3. PAY BY THE MONTH:
•$22 PER LESSON

4. PAY FOR ONE LESSON AT A TIME:
•$25 PER LESSON

ALLSTAR BANDS: $195 PER SESSION
• 1st session sign up deadline Oct 13, 2007
• 1st session practice starting Oct 27,2007

ALL LATE PAYMENTS WILL BE CHARGED THE WEEKLY RATE OF $22.OO PER LESSON

• Lessons may be paid by cash, debit, VISA or personal cheque made payable to 'Melody Man'.

• THERE WILL BE A $10.00 CHARGE FOR ALL N.S.F. CHEQUES

Cancellation Policies

• If a scheduled lesson cannot be attended, notice must be given 24 hours prior (at least the day before your lesson).
• The cancellation phone number is (905) 639-1097! The answering machine is on 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is checked on a regular basis.
• Make-up lessons will be given for any cancelled lessons or the student will receive a credit for future lessons.
• All cancellations on the day of a lesson will be considered as a lesson given and charged to the students account.
